Level up your broadcasting, generate tags, highlights, replays and graphics based on your sport

CloudStudio broadcast features will differ based on the sport that you are broadcasting. When broadcasting baseball, basketball, floorball, futsal, handball or soccer you will get a variety of CloudStudio features such as 'widgets' and 'tag panels'.

When using CloudStudio 'widgets' you can:

  • Trigger the sport specific scorebugs to keep your viewers informed of the time, score etc.

  • Control the storyboard and choose when to show intermission or end game graphics.

When using CloudStudio 'tag panels' you can:

  • Create tags which generate 'lower left graphics'.

  • Create tags which can be used to analyze the teams' performance if the broadcast is imported to your Spiideo Perform account.

  • Generate clips which can be used to create highlight reels and instant replays.


CloudStudio Widgets

When using widgets in CloudStudio you control the storyboard and the information presented in the scorebug. Keep reading to find out more about the widgets available for the sport that you are broadcasting.

The available widgets for each sport.


The scorebugs for each sport looks as presented above.


Tag Panels

The tags created with a tag panel can be used for highlight reels, instant replays, performance analysis and when used they appear as lower left graphics in your broadcast.

Please note: Prior to using a tag panel we recommend that you create teams and players to make the most out of your tags.

The available tags for each sport.


Lower Left Graphics

The lower left graphics are event graphics that are presented as a temporary overlay in your broadcast when you have used a tag panel.

The lower left graphics for each sport looks as above.


Baseball

Baseball Widgets

There are seven widgets for baseball located below the preview of the broadcast.


With the baseball CloudStudio widgets you can:

  1. Control the current inning

  2. Control the score

  3. Control the number of balls

  4. Control the number of strikes

  5. Control the number of outs

  6. Control the occupied bases


Control the inning

  1. Start the first inning by pressing the '▶' icon.

  2. Click 'top' or 'bottom' to adjust what team is currently batting.

  3. Click the '◼️' icon to stop the current inning.


Adjust what Inning you are in

You can at any time as long as the 'inning' is stopped adjust what 'inning' you are in.

To adjust the Inning:

  1. Click the '◼️' icon to stop the current inning.

  2. Adjust the number of the inning by clicking the '▲' icon to increase the number and the '▼' icon to decrease.


Control the score

To adjust the home teams' score:

  • Click the top left '▲' icon to increase and the bottom left '▼' icon to decrease the score.

To adjust the away teams' score:

  • Click the top right '▲' icon to increase and the bottom right '▼' icon to decrease the score.


Control the balls

Increase the amount of balls by clicking the '▲' icon and decrease by clicking the '▼' icon. To reset click the '' icon.


Control the strikes

Increase the amount of strikes by clicking the '▲' icon and decrease by clicking the '▼' icon. To reset click the '' icon.


Control the outs

Increase the amount of outs by clicking the '▲' icon and decrease by clicking the '▼' icon. To reset click the '' icon.


Control the bases

Select an occupied base by clicking the corresponding square. To reset click the '' icon.

Baseball Tag Panel

Located just under the widgets is the baseball tag panel. Using the tags 'Homerun', 'Up to bat' and 'Pitcher' will generate a lower left graphic, using the tag 'Other' will not.


Choose to tag either by clicking on the tag or by using the designated hotkey on your keyboard.

The baseball tag panel consists of the tags:


Homerun (Hotkey A)

To tag a 'Homerun':

  1. Click on the 'Homerun' tag or 'A' on your keyboard.

  2. Select the team you wish to connect to the tag.

  3. Select the player you wish to connect to the tag.


Up to bat (Hotkey S)

To tag a player going 'Up to bat':

  1. Click on 'Up to bat' tag or 'S' on your keyboard.

  2. Select the team you wish to connect to the tag.

  3. Select the player you wish to connect to the tag.


Pitcher (Hotkey R)

To tag a 'Pitcher':

  1. Click on the 'Pitcher' tag or 'R' on your keyboard.

  2. Select the team you wish to connect to the tag.

  3. Select the player you wish to connect to the tag.


Other (Hotkey X)

Other is a great tag for those instances that do not fit under any of the other tags such as a great hit from the batter.

To tag 'Other':

  1. Click on the 'Other' tag or 'X' on your keyboard

  2. Select the team you wish to connect to the tag. If this is not applicable choose 'None'.

  3. Select the player you wish to connect to the tag. If this is not applicable choose 'None'.


Baseball Lower Left Graphics

The lower left graphics are triggered by using the tags in the tag panel. As their name suggests they appear in the lower left corner of your broadcast.

Basketball

Basketball Widgets

There are seven widgets for baseball located below the preview of the broadcast.


With the basketball CloudStudio widgets you can:

  1. Control the phase

  2. Control the time

  3. Control the shot clock

  4. Control the score

  5. Control the home teams' fouls

  6. Control the away teams' fouls


Before the phase

The phase widget dictates what quarter we are in, controls the AutoFollow as well as triggering the scorebug. Before starting the phase you can change the length of the phase which by default is set to 12 minutes.

If you wish to change the phase length before the jump ball click the '' icon followed by the '▲' icon to increase the time and '▼' to decrease.


Start the phase

By default, starting a phase in basketball does not automatically start the time meaning that the time has to be started manually. Read here how to disable this setting.

To start the phase and time:

  1. Click on the '▶' icon in the 'phase' widget to start the phase.

  2. Click on the '▶' icon in the 'time' widget or 'Start clock' to start the time.


Stop the phase

The phase does not automatically stop when the time reaches 00:00 and needs to be stopped manually. Stopping the phase changes the broadcast state to 'intermission' where the camera goes into ambient mode, AutoFollow is disabled and the intermission graphics are presented.

To stop the phase click on the '◼️' icon.


Adjust what phase you are in

You can at any point adjust what phase you are in as long as the phase is stopped.

To proceed to the next phase click on the '▲' icon and '▼' to return to a previous phase.


Start the phase after an intermission

To start the phase again click either on the '▶' icon or on 'Start phase'.


End the game

Once all of the quarters have been played you can end the game to present any available end game graphics. When you have ended the game the broadcast will continue until the scheduled stop time.

To end the game:

  1. Click on the '◼️' icon to stop the phase.

  2. Click on 'End game'

  3. Click on 'End game' again


Time settings

Before you start the phase you can decide if you want the time in the scorebug to count up or down as well as if the clock should start automatically when starting the phase or not. By default the time is set to count downwards and the clock is not set to start with the phase.

To enable/disable the Countdown/Start clock with phase click the '' icon followed by the corresponding toggle.


Manually adjust the time

Pause the clock to manually adjust the time

To adjust the time:

  1. Click on the '▐▐ ' icon to pause the time.

  2. Click the top left '▲' icon to increase the minutes and the bottom left '▼' icon to decrease.

  3. Click the top right '▲' icon to increase the seconds and the bottom right '▼' icon to decrease.

  4. Click on the '▶' icon to start the time again.


Control the shot clock

The shot clock is by default set to 23 seconds.

To start the shot clock click on the '' icon and whenever you wish to reset it click the '' icon again.


Manually adjust the shot clock

To manually adjust the shot clock time:

  1. Click on the '▐▐ ' icon on the 'time' widget to pause the time.

  2. Click the top '▲' icon on the shot clock widget to increase the seconds and the bottom '▼' icon to decrease.

  3. Click on the '▶' icon on the 'time' widget to start the time again.


Control the score

Controlling can be done either through adding one point at a time or with the multi point options enabling you to add two or three points with just one click.

To adjust the home teams' score:

  • Click the top left '▲' icon to increase and the bottom left '▼' icon to decrease the score by one point.

  • Click on the left hand '2p' or '3p' to add two/three points.

To adjust the away teams' score:

  • Click the top right '▲' icon to increase and the bottom right '▼' icon to decrease the score by one point.

  • Click on the right hand '2p' or '3p' to add two/three points.


Home team fouls

Increase the amount of fouls by clicking the '▲' icon and decrease by clicking the '▼' icon. To reset click the '' icon.


Away team fouls

Increase the amount of fouls by clicking the '▲' icon and decrease by clicking the '▼' icon. To reset click the '' icon.

Basketball Tag Panel

Located just under the widgets is the baseball tag panel. Using the tags 'Score' and 'Timeout' will generate a lower left graphic, using the tag 'Other' will not.


The basketball tag panel consists of the tags:


Score (Hotkey A)

The perfect tag for when someone scores.

To tag 'Score':

  1. Click on the 'Score' tag or 'A' on your keyboard

  2. Select the team you wish to connect to the tag

  3. Select the player you wish to connect to the tag


Timeout (Hotkey T)

To tag a 'Timeout':

  1. Click on the 'Timeout' tag or 'T' on your keyboard

  2. Select the team you wish to connect to the tag


To stop the 'Timeout click on either the '▶' icon on the time widget or 'End timeout and start clock.


Other (Hotkey X)

To tag 'Other':

  1. Click on the 'Other' tag or 'X' on your keyboard

  2. Select the team you wish to connect to the tag. If this is not applicable choose 'None'.

  3. Select the player you wish to connect to the tag. If this is not applicable choose 'None'.


Basketball Lower Left Graphics

The lower left graphics are triggered by using the tags in the tag panel. As their name suggests they appear in the lower left corner of your broadcast.


The basketball lower left graphics look as above.


Floorball

Floorball Widgets

There are four floorball widgets that can be found under the broadcast preview.


With the floorball CloudStudio widgets you can:

  1. Control the phase

  2. Control the time

  3. Control the score


Before the phase

The phase widget dictates what period we are in, controls the AutoFollow as well as triggering the scorebug. Before starting the phase you can change the length of the phase which by default is set to 20 minutes.

If you wish to change the phase length before throw off click the '' icon followed by the '▲' icon to increase the time and '▼' to decrease.


Start the phase

By default, starting a phase in futsal does not automatically start the time meaning that the time has to be started manually. Read here how to disable this setting.

To start the phase and time:

  1. Click on the '▶' icon in the 'phase' widget to start the phase.

  2. Click on the '▶' icon in the 'time' widget or 'Start clock' to start the time.


Stopping the phase

The phase does not automatically stop when the time reaches 20:00/40:00/60:00 and needs to be stopped manually. Stopping the phase changes the broadcast state to 'intermission' where the camera goes into ambient mode, AutoFollow is disabled and the intermission graphics are presented.

To stop the phase click on the '◼️' icon.

You can at any point adjust what phase you are in as long as the phase is stopped.

To move forward to the next phase click on the '▲' icon and '▼' to return to a previous phase.

To start the phase again click either on the '▶' icon or on 'Start phase'.


End the game

Once the three periods are finished you can end the game. When you end the game the camera will go into ambient mode, AutoFollow will be disabled and any end game graphics available will be shown.

To end the game:

  1. Click on the '◼️' icon to stop the phase.

  2. Click on 'End game'

  3. Click on 'End game' again


Time settings

Before you start the phase you can decide if you want the time in the scorebug to count up or down as well as if the clock should start automatically when starting the phase or not. By default the time is set to count downwards. By default both of these options are enabled.

To enable/disable the Countdown/Start clock with phase click the '' icon followed by the corresponding toggle.


Manually adjust the time

You can at any time as long as the time is paused adjust the time manually.

To adjust the time:

  1. Click on the '▐▐ ' icon to pause the time.

  2. Click the top left '▲' icon to increase the minutes and the bottom left '▼' icon to decrease.

  3. Click the top right '▲' icon to increase the seconds and the bottom right '▼' icon to decrease.

  4. Click on the '▶' icon to start the time again.


Control the score

To adjust the home teams' score:

  • Click the top left '▲' icon to increase and the bottom left '▼' icon to decrease the score.

To adjust the away teams' score:

  • Click the top right '▲' icon to increase and the bottom right '▼' icon to decrease the score.

Floorball Tag Panel

Handball Widgets

  4. Control if there is an empty goal


Start the phase

The phase widget dictates what half we are in as well as triggering the scorebug. Before starting the phase you can change the length of the phase which by default is set to 30 minutes.

If you wish to change the phase length before throw off click the '' icon followed by the '▲' icon to increase the time and '▼' to decrease. Start the phase by clicking the '▶' icon.


Stop the phase

The phase does not automatically stop when the time reaches 30:00/60:00 and needs to be stopped manually. Stopping the phase changes the broadcast state to 'intermission' where the camera goes into ambient mode, AutoFollow is disabled and the intermission graphics are presented.

To stop the phase click on the '◼️' icon.

To move forward to the next phase click on the '▲' icon and '▼' to return to a previous phase.

Control the empty goal

The widgets 'Empty Goal' work the same both for the home and away team. When a team has remove their goalkeeper and this information is entered in 'Empty goal' widget a graphic will be displayed above the teams' name in the scorebug.

To control the 'Empty goal' widget:

  1. Click on the team logo of the team that has an empty goal to trigger the scorebug graphic.

  2. Click on the same logo again once the goalkeeper is back to remove the scorebug graphic

Handball Tags

Located just under the widgets is the baseball tag panel. Using the tags 'Goal', 'Card' and 'Timeout' will generate a lower left graphic, using the tag 'Suspension' and 'Other' will not.


The available tags for handball are:


Goal (Hotkey A)

The perfect tag for when someone scores.

To tag a 'Goal':

  1. Click on the 'Goal' tag or 'A' on your keyboard

  2. Select the team you wish to connect to the tag

  3. Select the player you wish to connect to the tag


Card (Hotkey C)

To tag a 'Card':

  1. Click on the 'Card' tag or 'R' on your keyboard

  2. Select the type of card that you wish to tag (red, yellow or blue)

  3. Select the team you wish to connect to the tag

  4. Select the player you wish to connect to the tag


Timeout (Hotkey T)

Tagging a timeout pauses the time but does not pause the phase.

To tag a 'Timeout':

  1. Click on the 'Timeout' tag or 'T' on your keyboard

  2. Select the team you wish to connect to the tag


To start the time again click on 'End timeout and start clock'.


Suspension (Hotkey S)

To tag a 'Suspension':

  1. Click on the 'Suspension' tag or 'S' on your keyboard

  2. Select the team you wish to connect to the tag

  3. Select the player that was suspended

Please note that this tag does not generate a lower left graphic.


Tagging a suspension will add a timer with the remaining time of the suspension in the scorebug.


The suspension is automatically stopped after two minutes but can also be manually stopped.

To manually stop the suspension click on the 'X' icon to the right of the name of the suspended player.


Other (Hotkey X)

The 'Other' tag is a great option for those instances that do not fall under the other tags such as a skill move, a great interception or a good save.

To tag 'Other':

  1. Click on the 'Other' tag or 'X' on your keyboard

  2. Select the team you wish to connect to the tag. If this is not applicable choose 'None'.

  3. Select the player you wish to connect to the tag. If this is not applicable choose 'None'.


Handball Lower Left Graphics

The lower left graphics for handball are presented in the bottom left of your broadcast.


The handball lower left graphics look as presented above.


Soccer

Soccer Widgets

There are four widgets for soccer located below the preview of the broadcast.


The following widgets are available for soccer:

  1. Control the phase

  2. Control the time

  3. Control the score

  4. Add commentary and control arena sound


Start the phase

The phase widget dictates what half we are in as well as triggering the scorebug. Before starting the phase you can change the length of the phase which by default is set to 45 minutes.

If you wish to change the phase length before throw off click the '' icon followed by the '▲' icon to increase the time and '▼' to decrease. Start the phase by clicking the '▶' icon.


Stop the phase

The phase does not automatically stop when the time reaches 45:00/90:00 and needs to be stopped manually. Stopping the phase changes the broadcast state to 'intermission' where the camera goes into ambient mode, AutoFollow is disabled and the intermission graphics are presented.

To stop the phase click on the '◼️' icon.

You can at any point adjust what phase you are in as long as the phase is stopped.

Soccer Tag Panel

Located just to the right of the widgets is the soccer tag panel. Using the tags 'Goal', 'Substitution' and 'Card' will generate a lower left graphic, using the tag 'Other' will not.

You will find the soccer tag panel on the right of the widgets.


The soccer tag panel consists of the tags:


Goal (Hotkey: A)

The perfect tag for when someone scores.

To tag a 'Goal':

  1. Click on the 'Goal' tag or 'A' on your keyboard

  2. Select the team you wish to connect to the tag

  3. Select the player you wish to connect to the tag


Substitution (Hotkey S)

To tag 'Substitution':

  1. Click on the 'Goal' tag or 'A' on your keyboard

  2. Select the team you wish to connect to the tag

  3. Select the player that is being subbed out

  4. Select the player that is being subbed in


Card (Hotkey R)

To tag a 'Card':

  1. Click on the 'Card' tag or 'R' on your keyboard

  2. Select the type of card that you wish to tag

  3. Select the team you wish to connect to the tag

  4. Select the player you wish to connect to the tag


Other (Hotkey X)
