Tagging is your first step in performance analysis of your games and trainings. By tagging a recording, you create time-stamped labels of events that are customizable to your requirements. Use these tags to create clips for presentations, clip collections or simply to navigate through a recording in a more streamlined fashion.

Types of Tags
Within Spiideo Perform, we have a number of different tag types that allow you to tag your recordings in a more unique and specific way.
Duration Tags
A duration tag is a Start-and-Stop style tag that allows you to tag an instance which varies in length. Perhaps you want to tag 'Build up play' before a goal, the amount of time this takes is different from one situation to another. Therefore, you can use a Duration Tag, to start your tagging time and stop your tagging time when you wish.
To create a duration tag choose 'Duration' when editing the tag.
Two-level Tags
Two-level tagging is only available for PRO and PRO Plus accounts.
Two-level tags allow you to be more descriptive in your tagging, by applying a second tag to your first tag. There are three type of tags categorized into three levels that can be used when two-level tagging.
'All' Both first- and second-level tag
This is a tag will be available both as a first-level and second-level tag.
First-level
This is a tag that is often used for broader categories such as a pass, shot, goal, 3-pointer or block. These tags can only be used as the first tag when Two-Level tagging.
Second-level
This is a tag that enables you to be more specific with your first-level tags and often includes individual players or a certain type of pass, shot or goal. These tags can only be used as the second tag when Two-Level tagging.
An example of using Two-level tagging could be:
First-level tag: Shot
Second-level tag: On goal
or
First-level tag: 3-pointer
Second-level tag: Johny Johnsson
When editing your tag you can choose the tag level by clicking on 'All', 'First' or 'Second'.
Tag a Recording Post Recording or Upload
You can add tags to a recording both during and after it's been completed or uploaded. Tagging after it has been completed allows you to analyze and break down the footage at your own pace. Before you start tagging you need to create a tag panel.
Before you Start Tagging
Once you have created a tag panel you can navigate to the recording that you would like to tag.

Click the tag or your chosen hotkey at the moment the event you want to tag begins. In the example above, we’re tagging the start of a build-up play. A timer will appear above the tag, showing the length of the ongoing duration.
When the event ends, click the same tag or hotkey again to stop the timer.
Alternatively, you can start a duration tag and drag it to cover the desired duration.
To drag a duration tag:
Click on the duration tag at the point where the event begins, then drag it along the timeline below the recording to cover the entire duration of the event.
Two-Level tagging
To start Two-Level tagging click on the toggle located just above your tag panel labelled 'Two-Level'. All of your second-level tags will be greyed until you have used a first-level tag.
Once you have enabled Two-Level tagging you are all set to start tagging.
To Two-Level tag:
Click the tag or your chosen hotkey(s) at the moment of the action. In the example above, we’re tagging a bad pass. A timer will appear above the tag, showing the remaining amount of seconds left to select your next tag(s).
