The Recordings tab shows all recordings in your account that you can access. This includes recordings from stationary Spiideo cameras, Portable SmartCams, and uploaded videos. Depending on the user role assigned by your administrator, some recordings may be restricted.
The 'Recordings' tab option can be found at the top of the left-hand side menu.
Find a Recording in Spiideo Perform
Depending on whether you are an admin or a member, you'll have access to different views that determine which recordings you see.
An admin will see all recordings made on the account, regardless of who started it.
A member will see all recordings started by themselves as well as recordings that are shared with them either individually or through a group that they are a part of.
Some recordings may not be visible regardless of your role. If there are recordings that you cannot find please note that they may be shared to a group that you are not a part of. You'll learn more about this below.
On the Web
'Admin' View
If you are an Admin and want to view all recordings within the organization, regardless of whether they are explicitly shared with you, switch to Admin View.
To switch to admin view click 'View' in the top right and select 'Admin view'.
'All Recordings' View
Under the 'All recordings' view you'll find recordings that have been either shared with you or created by you. This option is available for both Admins and Members.
To switch to 'All recordings' view click 'View' in the top right and select 'All recordings'.
'Created by me' View
Under the 'Created by me' view you'll find recordings started by you.
To switch to 'Created by me' view click 'View' in the top right and select 'Created by me'.
Search for a Recording
You can also search for a recording via the search bar. The search word/s can include for e.g., a team name, the name of the user who started the recording or the name of the scene it was recorded on.
To use the search bar click 'Search..' on the top right and start typing.
Filter on Groups
If there are recordings that you cannot find using the different views, they may be shared to a group that you are a part of.
To filter recordings on a group click 'View' and select the group you want to filter on.
In the iOS App
The 'Recordings' tab is available in the Spiideo iOS App too.
The 'Recordings' tab option can be found at the bottom left-hand side corner.
In the Spiideo iOS App you are able to search for a specific recording and filter on 'All recordings', 'Created by me' as well as 'Admin view'.
Press the '🔍' icon located just under 'Recordings' to search for a recording.
Press 'Filter' located on the top right to filter your recordings.
View a Recording
Once you've located a recording you'll be able to view and work with the footage. The footage can be viewed either in Standard or High graphic mode, by default this is set to Standard.
The quality mode on your iOS device will always be set to high.
To adjust the graphic mode:
Click on your profile in the left side menu.
Scroll down to 'Graphics'.
Select the desired graphic mode.
⚠️ Please note: Using the High quality mode requires more processing power from your device. If you notice any lag on your device please revert back to Standard.
On the Web
Open a Recording
Once you've set the graphic mode, it's time to head into the recording.
To open a recording on the web, click the recording’s thumbnail.
Tags, Info and Downloads
Once you have opened up your recording you'll find the Tags and Info sections located on the left side. Located just above the video player you'll find the downloads section.
In the 'Tags' section you'll find your tag panel/s. If you want to learn more about tagging click here.
In the 'Info' section you'll find key information such as when the recording was started, when it ended, who started it etc.
In the 'Downloads' section you'll be able to view as well as create predefined and custom downloads.

Play, Pause, Fast Forward and Rewind
Knowing how to control a recording is key in making the most of Spiideo Perform.
To control a recording on the Web:
Click '1x' to change the playback speed.
Click '►' to play.Click 'II' to pause.
Click the button with the backward arrow and ‘5’ to rewind 5 seconds.
Click '◀I' to advance frame by frame.
Click 'I►' to rewind frame by frame.
Click the button with the forward arrow and ‘5’ to forward 5 seconds.
Click the speaker button to control the sound.
You can also fast-forward or rewind the recording by clicking anywhere on the timeline bar below the video player to jump directly to your desired spot.
Zoom, Pan and Tilt
The view in the video player can to a large extent be adjusted to meet each user's desire.
Control the visible area of the video:
Click and drag your mouse to pan left, right, up, or down.
Zoom in or out using the your device's touchpad or scroll wheel.
You can also enable zoom overlay buttons that can be used for zooming in and out.
To activate the Zoom buttons overlay:
Click the cogwheel icon and select 'Zoom buttons'.
Click '+' to zoom in and '-' to zoom out.
If you zoom out far enough, you'll see a black area at the top and bottom of your video player. These are completely normal and are known as the black area of the camera. The purpose of the black area is to indicate where the camera lens ends and cannot be removed.
AutoFollow, Cinema Mode and Full Screen
Customize the AutoFollow as well as the angle from which your footage is viewed. AutoFollow is the AI model used by the cameras to follow gameplay and can be divided into three types:
Standard AutoFollow:
The default mode where the system automatically follows the action, usually focusing on the ball or players.All-players AutoFollow:
Tracks every player on the field to ensure all action is in view.Wide AutoFollow:
Captures a larger view of the field or court, showing both teams and the ball.
Use the 'AutoFollow' toggle to enable/disable AutoFollow.
Click the Camera icon with the letter 'A' to adjust:
The AutoFollow mode.
The camera angle.
Click the Rectangle icon to view the recording in 'Cinema mode'.
Click the Fullscreen icon to view the recording in 'Full screen'.
Time Format and Picture-in-picture
Time Format
Choose the time format for the video player. Video shows minutes into the recording, and World shows the real-world clock time of the recording.
Click the 'Cogwheel' icon and choose your preferred time format.
Picture-in-picture
If you are on a Pro Plus subscription you can enable Picture-in-picture.
To enable Picture-in-picture click the 'Cogwheel' icon and select 'Picture-in-picture'. Click on the three-lined icon to adjust the Picture-in-picture settings:
Click the 'Camera' dropdown menu to switch the camera view.
Click the 'Aspect Ratio' dropdown menu to change the aspect ratio.
Click 'S', 'M', or 'L' to change the size.
Click on the different squares in the 'Position Grid' to adjust the placement.
Click the icon consisting of a square and the letter X to remove the Picture-in-picture.
Please note: The time format and Picture-in-picture cannot be adjusted in the Spiideo iOS Application.
In the iOS App

Whilst the Spiideo Web App includes more features, you can still find a lot of valuable information in the iOS App. In the iOS App, the 'Info' section is slightly reduced and can instead be found in the recording's thumbnail.

Zoom in by spreading two fingers apart or zoom out by pinching them together.

Customize the AutoFollow as well as the angle from which your footage is viewed. AutoFollow is the AI model used by the cameras to follow gameplay and can be divided into three types:

Press the corresponding preview image to switch camera angle. This can also be done by pressing the 'Camera' icon followed by the camera angle of your choice.
Press the 'Camera' icon followed by 'Autofollow...' to adjust the AutoFollow.
Rotate your device to view the recording in full screen.
