In-Game Operations in Spiideo Replay

Manage an ongoing or scheduled recording, learn how to use the Replay features during the game-day recording, how to stop, start, and extend a recording, as well as how to contact support.

Once the recording begins, it is time to get down to business and start using the Replay features for any moment that needs to be reviewed. If you haven't started the recording yet, click here to learn how to schedule one.

During the recording, we recommend that you regularly keep an eye on the camera image, camera, and network status to ensure a smooth recording.

To view the recording from a competition, click the 'View recording' icon.


To view a recording from a league head to the 'Classic Leagues' tab and click on the recording you want to view.


Video Player Controls

Start by testing out the video player controls.

  • Click '1x' to change the playback speed.

  • Click the button with the backward arrow and ‘2’, '5' or '10' to rewind 2, 5 or 10 seconds.

  • Click '◀I' to rewind frame by frame.

  • Click '►' to play. Click 'II' to pause.

  • Click 'I►' to advance frame by frame.

  • Click the button with the forward arrow and ‘2’, '5' or '10' to rewind 2, 5 or 10 seconds.

  • Click the speaker button to control the sound.

  • Click and drag the scrubber to rewind / advance.


Viewing & Layout Controls

Adjust the viewing modes and their layout to make sure you're viewing the footage from the perfect angle.

  • Click the number of the corresponding angle to change the view.

  • Click 'Split screen' to divide the screen into two sections with two adjustable angles.

  • Click 'Left focus' to increase the size of the left view and decrease the size of the right side.

  • Click 'Swap' to swap the two angles around.

  • Click 'Picture-in-picture' to add a third angle as an overlay in the video player.

    • Use your device's mouse to tilt, pan, and zoom.

    • Click the three-lined settings icon to adjust:

      • Camera angle.

      • Aspect ration

      • Size

      • Position


Create a Replay, Loop, and Point of Interest (POI)

To create a replay:

  1. Click 'Replay'.

  2. Choose a category.*

  3. Add a note to add detail to the replay.*

Create a point of interest for instances that you may want to review but not necessarily replay.

To create a loop:

  1. Click 'Loop'.

  2. Click and drag the left and right end lines of the loop to adjust the start and end time.

  3. Click '►' to play the loop.


Check your event log list and ensure that all tags are there. The events can be sorted into 'All', 'Replays', or 'POIs'.

To create a point of interest:

  1. Click 'POI'.

  2. Click on the star icon in the scrubber to view the point of interest.

  3. Choose a category.*

  4. Add a note to add detail to the point of interest.*

Check your event log list and ensure that all tags are there. The events can be sorted into 'All', 'Replays', or 'POIs'.

Open the event log list by clicking the list icon located in the bottom right.


Extend the Recording Duration

If your recording has already started, but you've just found out the game is delayed, you can extend the recording end-time. Please keep in mind that a recording can be at most 7 hours long and that in some cases, starting a new recording is a better option than extending the current one.

Extend the Recording in Spiideo Competitions

To extend a recording in Spiideo Competitions:

  1. Click the 'Extend recording' icon.

  2. Click the drop-down menu and select how many hours you'd like to extend the recording by. On the right of the number of hours, you'll see the updated end time of the recording.


Extend the Recording in Spiideo League Exchange

To extend a recording:

  1. In the 'Leagues' tab, click 'Calendar'.

  2. Click on the recording you want to extend.

  3. Click 'Edit recording'.

  4. Click the date & time and either use your device's keyboard or the drop-down menu to set a new end-time.

  5. Click 'Save'


End an Ongoing Recording

When the game you are recording has ended, you can go ahead and manually end the recording.

End an Ongoing Recording in Spiideo Competitions

To end a recording in Spiideo Competitions:

  1. Click 'Open fixture details'.

  2. Click '' followed by 'Stop recording'.

  3. Click 'Stop recording'.


End an Ongoing Recording in Spiideo Classic Leagues

To end a recording in Spiideo Classic Leagues:

  1. In the classic leagues overview, click 'Stop recording'.

  2. Click 'Stop recording'.
