Requirements for Commentary
To provide commentary on your broadcast, you will need the following:
A network connection of at least 15mbps
An input device that is available in your device's audio settings
Your devices times settings set to automatic:
On a laptop or tablet - Open the System Preferences and go to Date & Time settings. We suggest enabling: Set date and time automatically as shown on the image below.
If you do not have your time set to automatic, your commentary will be out of sync
Managing Commentary On Site
To start commentary:
Choose your input source. This can be any audio input option on your device
OPTIONAL: Mute arena sound if you don't wish for the ambient audio from the camera microphone to be used on the broadcast
Press to start commentary
See your audio coming through with the audio waves feedback and press again to mute commentary
Managing commentary Off Site
To start commentary:
Choose your input source. This can be any audio input option on your device
OPTIONAL: Mute arena sound if you don't wish for the ambient audio from the camera microphone to be used on the broadcast

Dual Commentators and Audio Mixers
Commentary can only be started on one device (iPad or computer) during any given broadcast. To have multiple commentators, they must be local to each other and use an audio mixer (Physical or Virtual).
For audio mixers into CloudStudio:
Setup your mixer with both commentators microphones into the mixer
Combine these as you wish into one audio input
Select that input in CloudStudio as your microphone
We only record single channel audio for commentary in CloudStudio. This is why you commentary may sound different in CloudStudio compared to other playback methods
