NFHCA Film and Data Exchange with Spiideo

Video tutorials to help you and your staff get started with Spiideo

Updated over 3 months ago

Welcome to the NFHCA Field Hockey Film and Data Exchange Partnership with Spiideo.

Overview

Spiideo is the Video and Data provider for NFHCA for the 2024-2026 seasons.

  • All teams are required to share (upload or record) to their respective League Exchange (DI, DII, DIII)

  • Each team has selected the Spiideo subscription tier that best suits their analysis needs (see below for tutorials and feature set)

  • All games are broken down with AutoData (Field Hockey), which means you will get access to all key events for all games (goals, penalty corners, etc.) - great for scouting opponents and getting your own game events

Recording with Spiideo video into the League Exchange

Steps for teams with Spiideo Camera Systems

Best practice: Do not wait right until the game starts to start the recording.

We always recommend to start/share the recording at least 15 minutes before the game starts.

This will provide both Home/Away team to have more peace of mind that it's live and in the exchange.

You can either schedule the games via the Calendar tool in app.spiideo.net or manually start recordings from the Spiideo iOS app.

Start / share recordings manually to the League Exchange

  1. Login to Spiideo iOS app OR app.spiideo.net

  2. Go to the Leagues tab 🚨 (VERY IMPORTANT)

  3. Select Start new recording

  4. Choose Home - Away team from the Dropdown

  5. Enter the Match Day and Start time

  6. Select the League Exchange you wish to share to

  7. Press Start to start and share the recording
