Spiideo camera systems use a universal mounting bracket for installations on either a pole, truss, wall or ceiling. In this article, we will explain how to successfully mount your Spiideo camera system:
NOTE: the below images are S-LINE ULTRA WIDE (3 camera system). This will also apply to S-LINE WIDE (2 camera system).
Safety first
In order not to drop the rig from a dangerous height, use a safety wire between the mounting backplate and the camera rig during installation.
1. Mounting on a pole or truss
1.1 - Detach the back part (blue) of the mounting bracket. This is the part that will be attached to the pole/truss.
1.2 - Insert U-Bolts that fits snugly with the pole/ truss that you are attaching the rig to. Tighten the U-Bolts with washers against the mounting bracket.
Use U-bolts with a width of 105 mm (fits corner holes) or 40-65 mm (fits center holes).
1.3 - Reattach the camera system back onto the mounting bracket. Use a box/water level or a similar tool to ensure the camera rig is mounted horizontally. If not, you can loosen the screws between the camera plate and the omitting bracket and readjust.
Pole mount for different pole diameters
Compatible with Spiideo mounting bracket but not included in the package.
AXIS T91B47 Pole Mount is available in two versions, one with steel straps for poles between 50-150 mm (2-6 in) in diameter and one with steel straps for poles between 100-410 mm (4-16 in) in diameter.
2. Mounting on a wall or ceiling
1.2 - Detach the back part (blue) of the mounting bracket. This is the part that will be attached to the wall or ceiling.
1.2 - Attach the mount bracket with M10 screws or similar. Use appropriate types of plug and screw for the material you are mounting on.
1.3 - Reattach the camera system back onto the mounting bracket. Use a box/water level or a similar tool to ensure the camera rig is mounted level (left and right camera should aim at the same height). If not, you can loosen the screws between the camera plate and the mounting bracket and readjust.
