Role Requirements to Schedule a Broadcast
In order to schedule a broadcast, you must be granted one of two roles in your Spiideo Play account:
Admin
Scheduler
If you need to be added as one of these roles, please speak to your account admin. If you need further information on roles, you can read here.
Scheduling Your Broadcast
Once you have the required permissions, you can login to Spiideo Play and get started.
Navigate to the 'Broadcasts' tab and click 'Add new broadcast'.
Start off by filling in the event details.
Fill in the event details.
Description of the event, intended for the viewers. For Example: U17 Friendly Match.
Arena. Select which arena this game is being played at from the drop down list.
Select sport is for arenas that have multiple types of sport played there. If there is only one sport available, this will be greyed out.
Date and Time for the game. Set the specific kick off & date for the game. This is the time when the AI AutoFollow will begin tracking
Adjust how many minutes before the start time you want the broadcast to go live. During this time the live stream is active but the camera doesn't move.
Broadcast length. Be sure to set enough time for your specific broadcast. The livestream will end when the time is up. You can prolong this during a live broadcast if needed.
Click 'Continue'
Next, fill out the teams' information.
Fill in the teams' information from scratch or select already created teams and click 'Continue'.

Once the teams are filled in you will be choosing the type of broadcast.
Choose the option 'Spiideo Player' and click 'Continue'.
Set the price for the audience to watch and/or download the game. The currency and minimum charge is preset within your Spiideo agreement.
Set the price for viewing the broadcast by sliding the toggle and click 'Continue'.
If you want to offer the option of downloading the broadcast enable the 'Pay-Per-Download' toggle, slide the second toggle to adjust the 'Pay-Per-Download' price and click 'Continue'.
Continue by deciding if the broadcast is a part of a game package or not.
To add the broadcast to a game package click on the empty square on the left hand side of the game package name and click 'Continue'. Read more about game packages here.
Next up choose what sponsors (if any) you want to add to the broadcast. If you don't want any sponsors for this game you can skip this step. The selected sponsor/s will appear on the game page and will be available in CloudStudio as overlays you can add on top of the outgoing stream.
To add sponsors:
Click on the sponsors you want to add to the broadcast.
Toggle on/off the 'Automatically show sponsors as overlays on top of the live video'.
Click 'Save' to finish the scheduling.
Broadcast Overview
When the scheduling of the broadcast is completed you will see the broadcast overview page like below.
This shows you all the details for the broadcast previously entered and allows you to edit or delete the broadcast.
If you scroll down further on the page you will access other features such as CloudStudio, the game page and monitoring your broadcast.

Game page which page is the link you can share to viewers to purchase/watch your broadcast.
Monitor is the section that will provide live details about your broadcast once it begins. Read more about this feature here.
What will the Game Page look like?
The game page is the place you want to send viewers to purchase your broadcast. It contains all relevant information viewers will need including:
Teams
Description
Start time
Location
Purchase price (won't show if you are logged in as a Play account member)
The sponsors chosen for the broadcast.
It will also have a countdown timer before the broadcast begins
A preview of the game page.
Monitoring Your Broadcast
There are a couple of features that allow you to monitor your broadcast.
Start off by clicking on the broadcast that you want to monitor and you will see:
Camera status: Whether your cameras are online or not
Camera upload speed: If you camera speeds are sufficient (15mbps per camera is needed).
Watch a live feed of the broadcast with audio: Shows you what the viewer sees.
