If you turn on the power switch in your Portable SmartCam box and no lights on the router light up, there are a number of steps you can try in order to solve.
Initial Troubleshooting Steps
Ensure that the battery is fully charged
We recommend charging for at least 5 hours to achieve a full charge
From a full charge, you can record for approximately 4 hours
Ensure that the SIM card door is screwed close
There is a sensor under the door, if it does not notice the door close the router will not receive power
Please ensure your SIM card is inserted correctly so that the door can close comfortably. See here on how to insert your SIM
Screws should comfortably screw in and the door sit flush with the rest of the router, as shown:
Further Troubleshooting
If your router still does not receive any power, internal cables may have come loose or broken.
