How to Order AutoData

Requirements and how to order AutoData using footage from your Spiideo camera systems or uploaded footage.

Spiideo AutoData uses automated technology to process match footage, capturing game events, tracking player movements, and generating comprehensive team statistics. AutoData analyzes the footage, whether captured by Spiideo cameras or uploaded from a third-party source, and delivers a complete, fully-tagged breakdown within 24 hours.

AutoData can be ordered for:

  • Basketball

  • Field hockey

  • Handball

  • Ice hockey

  • Soccer

We recommend that you create teams and players before ordering your AutoData to streamline your process.

Types of AutoData

There are different tiers to choose from:

  • AutoData Basic includes just the essentials: kick-offs, shots, and goals.

  • AutoData Standard is designed for foundational team analysis. It focuses primarily on overarching team event data rather than deep individual metrics.

  • AutoData Advanced provides in-depth data for both the team and individual players, making it ideal for scouting and deep tactical analysis.

  • AutoData Activity* provides real-time spatial awareness; this live tracking feed instantly visualizes team shape, pitch control, compactness, and running metrics.

  • AutoData Activity Advanced* is the complete unification of tactical event data and physical tracking. It bridges the gap between what happened with the ball and how the team moved in space to make it happen.

* Exclusive to soccer.

Across all sports and tiers, AutoData can be ordered in two ways:

  • Single: Provides data extraction and analysis for one team.

  • Double: Provides data extraction and analysis for both teams.

Requirements for AutoData

AutoData can be used with any footage, regardless of whether it is captured with Spiideo cameras or uploaded footage. However, there are a few requirements that need to be met when ordering AutoData.

Footage Requirements:

  • Match Footage: Submitted videos must be recorded during match play, whether from an official game, a friendly, or a scrimmage.

  • Jersey Visibility: Clear visibility of jersey numbers is required for player-specific tagging. If numbers are obscured or not visible in the footage, we will only be able to tag team-level events.

Requirements for Ordering AutoData:

  • Account Role: You must be an Admin on the account.

  • Credits: You must have a sufficient number of AutoData credits.

  • Match Details:

    • AutoData Standard (One Team): Provide the name, lineup, and jersey color for your requested team, plus the opposing team's name and jersey color.

    • AutoData Basic or Double (Both Teams): Provide the names, lineups, and jersey colors for both the home and away teams.
