Teams and Players in Spiideo Perform

Improve efficiency when ordering AutoData.

Creating teams and players in Spiideo Perform enables you to streamline your AutoData ordering. Teams and Players are available for all accounts which have AutoData enabled.


Teams Overview

Below you will find an overview of 'teams' section.

From the 'teams' overview you can:

  1. Create a new team.

  2. Filter teams based on sport.

  3. Search for a team.

  4. See team names.

  5. See team abbreviation.

  6. See team sport.

  7. See the number of players on the team.


Create a Team

Creating a new team requires only a few steps.

To create a new team:

  1. Select '+ New'.

  2. Add a team emblem.

  3. Add a team name.

  4. Add a team abbreviation.

  5. Select a sport.

  6. Select colors for the first, second and third kit.

  7. Select 'Save'.

Please note: Once you have chosen a sport you will not be able to edit it.


Edit a Team

To edit a team, hover your mouse over the team you wish to edit and click the pencil icon on the far right.


A new window will appear where the team information can be adjusted.

Here you can:

  1. Edit the emblem.

  2. Edit the name.

  3. Edit the abbreviation.

  4. Select the sport (only available if you have not chosen a sport for the team when it was first created).

  5. Edit the first, second and third kit color.


Delete a Team

Deleting a team is useful in cases where a team has been created using the wrong sport or when a team is no longer in use.

To delete a team:

  1. Tick the box of the team/s you wish to delete.

  2. Select 'delete' located just above the list of teams.

  3. Confirm by selecting 'delete' on the window that popped up.


Players overview

Below you will find an overview of the 'players' overview.

From the 'players' overview you can:

  1. Create a new player.

  2. Filter players based on team.

  3. Search for a player.

  4. See player name.

  5. See player age.

  6. See player nationality.

  7. See the team that the players belongs to.


Create a Player

To create a player:

  1. Click '+ New'.

  2. Add a player image.*

  3. Add a first name.*

  4. Add a surname.

  5. Add a birthdate.*

  6. Add a nationality.*

  7. Add a default jersey number.

  8. Choose if the player is a goalkeeper or not.*

  9. Select the team/s that the player is included in.*

  10. Add a specific jersey number for each team if necessary.*

  11. Click 'Save'.

* are not mandatory steps.


Edit a Player

To edit a player, hover your mouse over the player you wish to edit and click the pencil icon on the far right. A new window will appear where the player information can be adjusted.

Here you can:

  1. Edit the player image

  2. Edit first name

  3. Edit last name

  4. Edit birth date

  5. Edit nationality

  6. Edit default jersey number

  7. Toggle on/off whether the player is a goalkeeper or not

  8. Edit the teams the player is included in

  9. Edit the jersey number for each team the player is included in


Delete a Player

Deleting a player is done in three steps.

To delete a player:

  1. Tick the box of the player/s you wish to delete.

  2. Click 'delete' located just above the list of players.

  3. Confirm by selecting 'delete' on the window that popped up.


Managing the Player Roles in the Team

Once you created your teams and players there are a few ways to manage the roles of the players. The roles that you assign each player will be the default roles when ordering your AutoData.

Click on a team that you want to edit the roles in. If you'd like to add more players you can click '+ New' and choose if you want to:

  • Add a completely new player (detailed/basic).

  • Assign a player from another team.


Add a Detailed Player

When adding a detailed player you choose:

  1. The player image.

  2. The first name.

  3. The last name.

  4. The birth date.

  5. The nationality.

  6. The default jersey number.

  7. To toggle on/off whether the player is a goalkeeper or not.

  8. Choose the team/s the player is included in.

  9. Choose the jersey number for each team the player is included in


Add a Basic Player

Basic players only include a jersey number as well as a first and surname. If a player is a goalkeeper use the 'goalkeeper' section, if not refer to the 'Players' section. C

When adding a basic player you choose:

  1. The jersey number.

  2. The first name.

  3. The surname.


Assign a Player from Another Team

To assign a player from one team to another:

  1. Click on '+ Add' and choose assign players.

  2. Search for a name or scroll to find the players and tick the boxes of the players you want to assign to the team. Click 'Assign'.

  3. If a player’s default jersey number matches the number of an existing team member, you’ll need to change one of the players’ jersey numbers.

  4. Once you've made all necessary adjustments, click 'Confirm'.


Removing Players from the Team

If you want to remove players from a team:

  1. Tick the box of the players you wish to remove.

  2. Click 'Remove from team'.

  3. Confirm by clicking 'Remove'.


Setting the Default Lineup

The default lineup will determine the lineup when ordering AutoData. There are two ways of editing the lineup, the first option is via the 'Default lineup' and 'Bench' toggles.

Simply click the toggle to select the appropriate option for each player.


You can also edit the lineup via the 'Edit' button located on the right.

To edit the lineup via the 'Edit' button:

  1. Click 'Edit' on the right side.

  2. You can search for a player by name or scroll through the list to find them.

  3. Search for a specific name or scroll amongst the players to find the player that you are looking for.

    1. Click the blue icon to add a player to the default lineup.

    2. Click the two-arrow icon to add a player as a substitute.

  4. Ensure that you add 11 players, including 1 goalkeeper to the default lineup. If you want to add any other players that you can't find in the list, click the '+ Add' button and choose the appropriate option.

  5. Click 'Save'.


After setting the default lineup, you can use the 'In the lineup' filter to view only the players included in the lineup or those who are not.


If you'd like to add a head coach you are able to do so via the 'Head coach' column in the top right. Click 'Edit', choose the name of the head coach and click 'Save'.


Use Teams and Players for AutoData orders

Once you've setup the teams, players and the lineups they are now ready to use to streamline your AutoData orders.

To use teams and players for AutoData orders:

  1. Begin by placing an AutoData order. If you need a refresher click here.

  2. When adding the lineup choose 'Teams & Players'.

  3. You’ll see a list of all teams you’ve previously created. From here, you can:

    • Create a new team

    • Search for an existing team

    • Scroll through your team list

  4. Once you find the team you want to use, simply select it to continue.


If you have created a default lineup, this will already be filled in for you.


Once you've selected the team, move onto the team color.

Ensure that you select the kit color the team is wearing in the recording to speed up the processing of your AutoData order.


Edit your lineup in a few clicks.

If you need to edit your lineup you have a few options:

  • Click on '+ Add' to add a new player or assign an existing one to the lineup.

  • Search for players and add them to the lineup.

  • Click the two-arrow icon to add a player as a substitute.

  • Click the 'X' icon to remove the player from the lineup.

  • Click the blue icon to add a player to the starting lineup.

  • Click the square containing a number to modify the jersey number.


If you want to start from scratch instead of using your default lineup click 'Clear' in the bottom left.


Once you are happy with your lineup or lineups (depending on the type of AutoData order) click 'Save' followed by 'Submit'.
