How to schedule a recording via the calendar on the Spiideo Perform Web App

Updated over a week ago

The Calendar tool is a great way to automate the starting and stopping of recordings. You can schedule an entire week's worth of practices and games days or weeks in advance!

Via this screen, you can:

  • See your upcoming recordings

  • Edit or cancel upcoming recordings

  • See all past recordings and uploads

This feature is only available on the Spiideo Web app.

You must have recording access before starting a recording, read about recording access here!

Schedule a Recording

Step 1: Go to Recordings tab > Calendar > Schedule a new recording

Step 2: Enter recording information. Sections are as followed:

  1. Enter the recording title (optional)

  2. Select a scene (If you don't see the scene you want, you might not have recording access)

  3. Select sport for recording

  4. Enter the date and start + end time of the recording

  5. Toggle to instantly create Predefined download once recording is finished

  6. Store recording as full or trimmed. Trimmed recordings will be reduced to just their tags in 10 days

  7. Share to relevant groups (optional)

Step 3: Once all relevant information is entered, click 'Schedule recording' in the bottom right.

When the recording is scheduled, it will appear in the Calendar:

  • All admins can see this recording on the calendar

  • All admins can edit/cancel recordings on the calendar

  • The recording will automatically start and stop at the scheduled time

Once the recording starts, it will appear in the recordings tab:

Step 4: Press to 'Stop recording' if you wish to end the recording

Edit/Cancel a Scheduled Recording
