Competitions in Spiideo Perform

Learn how to make the most out of the Spiideo Competition feature.

Updated this week

In Spiideo Competitions, you can manage a league’s seasons, schedules, footage, statistics, and teams: all in one place. Competitions allow you to:

  • Track past and upcoming matches, including details like round, stage, kickoff time, and participating teams.

  • View uploads and recordings.

  • Create and schedule new fixtures, or copy recordings into your Perform account.

  • Explore team rosters and dive into specific team analytics.

Roles in Competitions

There are three roles to choose from when joining or adding a member to a competition: admin, editor, and viewer.

An Admin can:

  • Create fixtures with scheduled recording or upload of footage.

  • Edit all scheduled recordings.

  • View all fixtures with games and data.

An Editor can:

  • Create fixtures with scheduled recording or upload of footage.

  • Edit their own scheduled recordings.

  • View all fixtures with games and data.

A Viewer can:

  • View all fixtures with games and data

All roles are able to download footage from the competition.

Adding Members to a Competition

To view the contents of a competition, you must first be added to it. Members in a Perform account must be added by an admin, while admins can add themselves.

To verify if you are a part of a competition or not, click 'Competitions' in the left side menu. An empty page means that you are not a part of a competition yet.

If you are already part of a competition, you'll see it listed in the overview.

Members can be added to a competition via the 'Members' tab in the competitions section on the left menu.

To add a member to a competition:

  1. In the competitions section, click 'Members.'

  2. Located under 'Other Leagues', you'll see the competitions that you haven't yet joined, and under 'Your Leagues', you'll see the competitions that you have joined. Click on the competition you want to add a member to.

  3. Click 'Add member' and enter the user’s name or email address.

  4. Select the user's role.

  5. Click on 'Add'.

View your Competition

Once you're a part of a competition, you'll be able to view its contents. Depending on how the competition is configured, you may have access to several seasons.

To access a competition, click 'View seasons'. A season can be in three states:

  • Upcoming: the season hasn't started yet.

  • Active: the season is ongoing.

  • Ended (empty field): the season has ended.

Click the star icon in the top right of a season card to mark it as a favorite. This will add a shortcut to that season in the left-hand side menu.

At the bottom of each season card, you'll find the shortcuts to a season's Fixtures, Teams, or Statistics. Keep reading to learn more about these three features.
