Tagging in Spiideo Perform Using your Apple Watch

Streamline your live-tagging process with your Apple Watch.

Updated yesterday

The Apple Watch is a great tool for time-effective live-tagging without using a larger device such as an iPhone, iPad, or laptop.

Set up your iPhone and Apple Watch

  1. Begin by pairing your Apple Watch with your iPhone. In order to use it with the Spiideo app, the Apple Watch OS version 2.2 or later is required. For more information, click here.

  2. Install the Spiideo iOS application on your iPhone. The Spiideo app will automatically be installed on your Apple Watch too.

Tagging your Recording

Configure the watch

To make tagging with the Apple Watch as effective as possible, we recommend that you do the following prior to recording:

Begin Tagging

Once you've configured the watch, you are ready to start tagging. Begin by either starting or scheduling a recording in Spiideo Perform yourself or open up an already ongoing recording that you have access to. If you need a refresher on starting a recording, click here.

To tag using the Apple Watch:

  1. On the Apple Watch, locate and tap the Spiideo application.

  2. The Spiideo Apple Watch app has three different tags: '#1', '#2', and '#3'. Swipe left or right to navigate among the tags.

  3. Tap on a tag to add it to your recording. Your tags will appear on the video timeline at the moment you tap them in real life.

Locate your Tags

Your tags will appear in the tag timeline located below the Spiideo Perform video player.
