How to use our Presentations feature

Presentations in Spiideo allow you to create, organize, and share any tagged event from your recordings. You can include and save drawings, add text annotations, change the name of clips, edit clips, and much more!


Create a Presentation

Some important things to know:

  • You can create and view presentations both on the Spiideo web app (app.spiideo.net) and from Spiideo's iOS app

  • Any presentation you create is automatically stored in the Spiideo cloud and available from any of your other devices where you are logged in

  • You can create unlimited presentations as it does not count against your storage quota


On Web

The 'Create a new Presentation' screen will look like the above:

  • Title your presentation

  • Choose the groups and individuals you wish to share to (this can also be done after creating)

Your presentation is now created and can be found in the 'Presentations' tab


  • In order to create a presentation, you must have tags on your recordings. Once tagged, you can add all tags to the presentation via the following button above

  • You can create your presentation via this button (as well as anywhere you see 'Create a new Presentation')


On iOS

  1. Select the recording you wish to use for a presentation

  2. Select the "+" icon to add tags to your presentation

  3. Choose which tags you wish to add then press 'Create new'

  4. Here you should:

    1. Title your presentation

    2. Choose the groups and individuals you wish to share to (This can also be done after creating)

  5. Navigate back to the home screen then to the 'Presentations' tab

  6. Enjoy!

In order to create a presentation, you must have tags on your recordings. Once tagged, you can add any number of tags to the presentation.


Share your Presentation

You can share your presentations both when creating and after creation, read on to find out how!

On Web

When creating a presentation, you will be given the option to share to either:

  1. Groups

  2. People


When sharing to Groups, you will see a list of all Groups your user is added to. You can select as many groups as you would like above


When sharing to People, you will be given a search option to search for users added to your team account. The list will populate as you type and you can select multiple users


You can also access these options after your Presentation is created. To do so, find the Presentation under the 'Presentations' tab, click the '3-dots' menu and 'Edit'


On iOS

When creating a presentation, you will be given the option to share to either:

  1. Groups

  2. People


When sharing to Groups, you will see a list of all Groups your user is added to. You can select as many groups as you would like as seen above


When sharing to People, you will be given a search option to search for users added to your team account. The list will populate as you type and you can select multiple users


You can also access these options after your Presentation is created. To do so, find the Presentation under the 'Presentations' tab, click the '3-dots' menu and 'Edit'


Customize your Presentation

On Web

Navigate to the 'Presentations' tab to the left of your screen and then click on the presentation you wish to customize

Edit Clips

Within the presentation, you can edit each clip by clicking the '3-dots' menu on the clip tile as seen:

  1. Edit the clip name

  2. Copy this clip to another presentation

  3. Select all clips on the presentation

  4. Delete either a single clip or all (whichever you have highlighted in blue)


You can edit the length of a clip by selecting the 'scissor' icon as seen above

  • Dragging each end of the bar will adjust the length

  • Typing time adjustments is also possible


Add Drawings

Your tools for drawing are displayed on the right hand side of your clips

In order, these tools are:

  • Cursor

  • Colors

  • Spotlight tool

  • Free-hand drawing tool

  • Area tool

  • Arrow tool

  • Measure tool

  • Text tool


Select a tool and use it to draw on the web player as shown above

Drawing tools are a part of Advanced Presentations, available with Pro and Pro Plus subscriptions


Clip Timeline

Your drawings will appear on the clip timeline below the web player:

  1. See which drawing is which via the tool image as well as name ('Spotlight')

  2. Toggle this drawing to appear as a single-frame drawing only

  3. Increase/Decrease the duration of the drawing along the clip timeline as well as adjust placement during the clip by dragging along the timeline

  4. Delete a selected drawing or all drawings


By scrolling the blue ticker along the timeline, you can input automatic pauses for when you present

These pauses can be:

  • Manual in nature and require you to continue the presentation

  • With an accompanying timer and the presentation will restart after the given time

Accompany the pauses with single frame drawings for elite tactical analysis!


On iOS

Navigate to the 'Presentations' tab at the bottom of your screen and then click on the presentation you wish to customize

Edit Clips

Within the presentation, you can manage each clip by clicking the blue 'Playlist' menu at the bottom and then the '3-dots' menu on the clip tile as seen above

Here you can:

  1. Edit the clip

  2. Copy the clip to another presentation

  3. Delete a clip from the presentation

You can also drag clips up or down to change their order within the presentation


To edit your chosen clip, click the three dots, then 'Edit' button. Here you will have the following options:

  1. Edit the name of the clip

  2. Adjust the duration of the clip

Click 'Done' to save adjustments


Add Drawings

Your tools for drawing are displayed at the top of the presentation screen:

From left to right, these tools are:

  • Adjust color of your tool

  • Spotlight tool

  • Free-hand drawing tool

  • Area tool

  • Arrow tool

  • Measure tool

  • Text tool


Select a tool and use it to draw on the iOS player as shown above


Clip Timeline

Your drawings will appear on the clip timeline below the iOS player:

Here you can:

  1. See which drawing is which via the tool image as well as name ('Arrow')

  2. Toggle this drawing to appear as a single-frame drawing only

  3. Increase/Decrease the duration of the drawing along the clip timeline as well as adjust placement during the clip by dragging along the timeline

  4. Delete a selected drawing or all drawings

Present and Download your Presentation

Once you are happy with your customizations, you are ready to present and download your presentation.

a. On Web

To present, simply press the blue button at the top right of your screen


The player for present mode looks as followed:

A few key options here are:

  1. Skip between clips

  2. Adjust zoom and add quick drawings using your advanced drawing tools

  3. Adjust AutoFollow and camera angle


To download, simply click the download button in the top right

Here you can click 'Create Download', your download will process, and then be available for you


On iOS

To present, simply press the 'Present' button at the top right of your screen


The player for present mode looks as followed:

A few key options here are:

  1. Skip between clips

  2. Add quick drawings using your advanced drawing tools

  3. Adjust playback speed, AutoFollow, camera angle and start screen recording


To download, navigate to the main Presentations menu and click the '3-dots' menu for the specific presentation

Here you can press 'Make Available Offline' to download this presentation as a local file to your device.
