Updated over 2 weeks ago

Below is a step-by-step process to receive a CloudLink feed with AutoFollow to your external program via RTSP.

Step 1: Check your Scene is Ready for CloudLink RTSP

To check this:

  1. Navigate to and click 'Scenes'.

  2. The highlighted column 'CloudLink Ready' will reflect a green tick if your scene is available for CloudLink RTSP.

  3. If your scene does not have a green tick, please contact the Spiideo Support team.

Step 2: Start a Recording in Spiideo Perform

To start a recording:

  1. Navigate to the 'Recordings' tab.

  2. Click '+ New'.

  3. Fill in the recording details. For a refresher, click here.

Step 3: Create the RTSP Link

Once the recording has started, you can create your RTSP link. You can create up to five different links per recording.

To create your link:

  1. On the recording overview, click 'Live tagging'.

  2. Click 'Info' located in the top right corner.

  3. Click 'CloudLink'.

  4. Click 'Create new'.

  5. Select the resolution.

  6. Select the camera angle.*

  7. Select 'Standard' or 'All players' and click 'Create'.

    1. Standard tracks the action closely, following the ball and players involved in the immediate play.

    2. All Players provides a more tactical, zoomed-out view that keeps all outfield players in shot, making it useful for tactical analysis

  8. Use your device's mouse or touchscreen to pan, tilt, and zoom until you have your desired view, and click 'Done'.

  9. The link will now start processing, which may take a few minutes.

* Only applicable to scenes with more than one camera angle.

Step 4: Retrieve and Use the RTSP Link

Once the link has been generated, you can copy it from the highlighted box. As soon as you've copied it, you'll be able to paste it into your external program.
