With Folders, you can now effortlessly organize and manage your recordings in a way that suits your needs. This feature provides a seamless and intuitive way to categorize and access your videos, making it easier than ever to find and analyze the footage that matters most to your staff and players. In this article, we'll guide you through the steps to use Folders effectively.
1. About Folders
Folders are a persistent organization system across all recordings on your Spiideo Perform account. This means:
All members can see all folders
Admins can create and manage folders
You can have unlimited folders
You can have unlimited subfolders
An example setup for folders on your Spiideo Perform account could look as followed:
First Team
Attackers
Jack Smith
Ryan Stevens
Midfielders
Defenders
Goalkeepers
Reserves Team
Coaching Staff
In this example, you will have a sub folder for a player 'Jack Smith'
2. Create Folders
To create a folder, you should first navigate to the recordings tab. Then you can click the '+ New' button and select 'New folder':
Here you can choose the name of your folder, this can also be edited later:
Once created, the folder will appear at the top of your page:
To create a sub-folder, start by clicking on the folder you wish the sub-folder to be contained in. Once in the folder, follow the same steps by clicking '+ New' and creating your sub-folder:
3. Manage your Folders
Once you've created your first folder, you can now begin managing your folders and recordings.
a. Rename and Delete Folders
You can rename or delete folders at any time via the '3-dots' menu next to the folder name:
Please note: when deleting a folder, you will delete all recordings and sub-folders contained within. You will be warned of this before deleting:
b. Move Recordings to Folders
To move an individual recording to a folder, click the '3-dots' menu on the recording tile and select 'Move to folder':
Here you can select from all folders available to move your recording to:
See the folder pathway for where your recording will be moved to and a list of all other folders/recordings contained in the folder. Next, click 'Move' to finalise the action:
To move multiple recordings at once, start by clicking 'Select many'.
You can then click the tile of each recording you wish to move and once happy with your selection, click 'Move' to select the folder destination:
