If your live recording is buffering a lot or frozen, you should check the following:
Upload Progress Meter
Open the Spiideo iOS app and go to the 'Recordings' tab to see the upload progress:
For live playback, the upload progress should not drop below 95% while recording
If the upload progress is continuously dropping, there may be a problem with your connection
Check your Connection
Connection status:
Open the 'Portable SmartCam Setup' menu and check that you are still connected to your network source. If you are not, you should redo the connection process to reconnect.
Run a speed test:
Press 'New +'
Make sure you have selected the Portable SmartCam scene, then press 'Speed Test'
Press 'Start' to begin the speed test. You will get a rating of:
Good - Network strength is good for live upload
Suboptimal - You may encounter delays in upload and live playback
Bad - Will encounter delays in upload and live playback
If your network strength is good but you are still experience delays in live playback and upload, please reach out to support!
