AI Highlights is the workflow that sets up a game's footage for auto-generating one or more stories. It identifies highlights from the footage and converts them into clips. Those clips are grouped into one or more stories, each of which produces a downloadable, shareable highlight reel.

AI Highlights are available for:

Soccer
Ice hockey
Basketball
Handball⁠

The process can look similar to the above.

Types of Orders

Highlights Basic and Advanced have a 24-hour turnaround time, whilst Highlights Live are complete shortly after the broadcast.

Types of AI highlight orders:

Highlights Basic
- Includes the essentials such as goals and shots
Highlights Advanced
- Includes the essentials as well as other events such as fouls and specific player information.
Highlights Live Basic*
Highlights Live Advanced*

* Need to be ordered no later than 48h in advance.

Types of highlight stories:

Intermission Recap*
Game Recap
Home Team Focus
Away Team Focus

* Can only be ordered together with Highlight Live.

Requirements for Ordering AI Highlights

Before you can submit an order, you need:

A sufficient number of highlights and story credits.
To have purchased the AI Highlight add-on.

To see how many credits you have:

Click 'Quotas' in the left side menu.
Locate 'AI Highlights' to see the number of highlights and story credits you have.

Ordering AI Highlights and Stories

There are two ways to order AI highlights:

Whilst scheduling the broadcast.
On an upcoming, live or past broadcast.

Start off by scheduling your broadcast. If you need a refresher on how to do that, click here.

Ordering Whilst Scheduling

Once you reach the 7th step of scheduling, you'll get the option to choose your highlight analysis level.

Begin by choosing the analysis level.

Click to select either 'Basic Highlights' or 'Advanced Highlights'.

If you are scheduling your broadcast more than 48 hours in advance, you can order a live analysis. AI highlights ordered via a live analysis will be ready shortly after the broadcast has ended.

Click the toggle 'Live Analysis' to order live AI highlights.

If you want to create a story, select one or more stories to be created automatically once the highlights are generated. If not, skip this step.

When adding a story:

Click on the story tile or '+ Order' in the bottom right of the tile to add the order.
Click on the duration drop-down menu and select the length of the story.

To delete a story, click on the trashcan icon.

In the bottom right corner, you'll find more information about the order as well as your credits.

Under 'Highlights ready in', you'll see when the order/s are expected to be complete.
Under 'Total Costs', you'll see the cost of your order/s on the far right and how many remaining credits you have after ordering just below the credit type header.

Once you are happy with your order/s:

Click 'Next' in the bottom right.
Verify your broadcast and order information.
Click 'Complete'.

Ordering on an Upcoming, Live, or Past Broadcast

Even if you've already scheduled your broadcast, if the broadcast is ongoing or if it's already finished, you can still order AI highlights on it.

To order AI highlights on an upcoming, live, or past broadcast:

Locate your broadcast.
Click 'Highlight reel' in the top right of the broadcasts tile.
Click 'Order Automatic Highlights'.

Choose your analysis level.

Click to select either 'Basic Highlights' or 'Advanced Highlights', and confirm by clicking 'Next'.

If you are ordering on an upcoming more than 48 hours in advance, you can order a live analysis. AI highlights ordered via a live analysis will be ready shortly after the broadcast has ended.

Click the toggle 'Live Analysis' to order live AI highlights.

If you want to create a story, select one or more stories to be created automatically once the highlights are generated. If not, skip this step.

When adding a story:

Click on the story tile or '+ Order' in the bottom right of the tile to add the order.

After Your Order

The turnaround time for your AI Highlights will vary on the type you ordered.

If you choose 'Basic' or 'Advanced', the AI highlights as well as the highlight reel/s are ready within the next 24 hours.
If you chose 'Basic Live' or 'Advanced Live', the AI highlights as well as the highlight reel/s should be complete shortly after the broadcast has finished.
