Quick Start Video

Elevate the Camera

You should now elevate the camera to the desired height. We recommend the following:

  • Elevate to 4-6m depending on field size

  • If weather conditions are rough, reduce elevation for safety

Calibration Process

Press 'New +'

Make sure you have select the Portable SmartCam you wish to calibrate, then press 'Calibrate'

Choose 'Virtual Panorama with AutoFollow'

Your scene will load and then you choose your field type. Once selected, press 'Next'

An image of your scene will appear with 4 annotations. You should:

  • Move each annotation into the corner of the field/court

  • Pinch to zoom the image for increased accuracy when placing annotations

  • Once happy with your annotations, press 'Next'

If the image doesn't capture the full field, you should go back, adjust the camera aim, then begin the calibration process again

Your scene will calibrate and then show you an image for review:

  • If you're unhappy with the image, repeat the calibration process

  • If you're happy with the image, press 'Done'

You can now scroll down, enter your recording details including:

  • Name

  • Description

• Sharing options

Then press 'Start'

Please make sure to read through all the safety information. Once read through, you can press 'I have read and understand' to continue

Your recording has now started and you will see it in your recordings tab

To ensure there are no unforseen complications, it is advised that you wait until you receive live footage on the recording before walking away from the camera
