Installing the rain cover can be done while your camera system is mounted, but we recommend bringing your camera system down from its mount for best results.
Follow these steps to ensure a successful installation!
Step 1: Align the Camera and the Rain Cover
Once you've brought the camera down, it is time to start the installation process.
On the rain cover, you’ll find four holes where you’ll attach the screws that were sent to you together with the rain cover.
On the camera rig, you'll also find four hole that line up with the ones on the rain cover.
Place the camera rig inside of the rain cover and ensure that the 8 holes are aligned. Bring the camera rig as far back into the rain cover as possible.
Step 2: Insert the Screws
Together with the rain cover you'll also get four M6x20mm A2 screws that will be used for attaching the rain cover to the rig.
Insert the screw from the outside of the rain cover toward the camera rig (do not insert from the inside).
Once all screws are attached, you're all set and ready to re-mount the camera.
