Automate the scoreboard overlay in your Spiideo Play broadcast.
Requirements for Sportzcast Integration
To enable scoreboard reading with Sportzcast, you will need:
A Spiideo Play Pro subscription.
A digital scoreboard at your venue.
To be the owner of the arena.
A Sportzcast score controller.
Configuring the Scoreboard
Once all of the above requirements are met, you can start configuring your Sportzcast.
To start configuring your Sportzcast:
In Spiideo Play, locate and click on 'CloudControl' in the menu on the left.
Choose the arena that you would like to add a scoreboard to.
Click on 'Settings' located at the top of the page.
Continue the setup process by:
Scroll down slightly until you reach the 'Scoreboard' section.
Click on 'Add scoreboard'.
Choose 'Sportzcast'.
Type in the Device ID. If you are unsure of where to find this, click here.
Click on 'Save'.
Once you have finished the setup in Spiideo you need to add the device id to the Spiideo Sportzcast account. To do so:
Open your e-mail and add sportzcastcs@geniussports.com as the recipient.
Compose your e-mail, we recommend something along the lines of:
"Hi, we are [insert club/organization name] and we would like to use the Sportzcast integration for automating the scoreboard. Can you please add the Sportzcast bot ID: [insert your Device ID here] for our scene [insert scene name here] to the Spiideo user account cloudmgm+sportzcast@spiideo.com".
Sportzcast are available to support Monday - Friday between 8:00 AM (EST) to 9:00 PM (EST) as well as Saturday 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We recommend that you reach out to them with your request no later than 3 hours prior to your first broadcast.
Where to Find your Device ID
On a Sportzcast device you will find the Device ID in the center of the top.
Remove the Sportzcast Scoreboard
If at any point you want to remove the Sportzcast scoreboard from a scene you can do this via the 'Settings' tab under the scene.
To remove a scoreboard navigate to the 'Scoreboard' section, click on 'Remove' and confirm by clicking 'Remove' again.
