The Contour Multimedia Xpress is a shuttle-and-jog wheel equipped with quick-action buttons designed to complement your Spiideo Replay experience. It allows replay operators and in-game officials to quickly navigate the timeline, jump between tags, and control playback without relying solely on a keyboard and mouse.
Requirements and Limitations
Before setting up the device, please note the following system requirements and limitations:
Operating System: Requires a Mac computer.
Browser: Requires the Google Chrome web browser (especially if using the pre-made Spiideo settings profile).
Device Compatibility: Does not work with an iPad.
Connection Limit: You can only connect one Contour Multimedia Xpress to a computer at a time.
Sideline Reviews: If a replay operator is located on the sideline sharing a review monitor back-to-back via an HDMI cable, the operator must physically hand the Contour Multimedia Xpress to the referee during a review.
Purchasing the Device
Spiideo does not sell the Contour Multimedia Xpress directly. You can easily purchase this device through various third-party electronics resellers by searching for "Contour Multimedia Xpress" online.

Features and Functionality
When configuring your controller, there are two options:
Option 1 (Recommended): You download an older Mac-only driver from Contour that lets you import a pre-made Spiideo profile.
Option 2: You download the latest driver from Contour and manually program each command yourself using Replay's keyboard shortcut list.

If you are using the pre-made Spiideo profile, the device will be mapped to the below functions. Spiideo will provide a sticker to attach to your device.
The pre-made Spiideo profile offers the following functions:
Jump to the previous tag.
Jump to the next tag.
Create a POI (point of interest).
Jump directly to the current time in the ongoing recording.
Play/Pause the recording.
Jog wheel.
Clockwise: Jog frame by frame forward.
Anti-clockwise: Jog frame by frame backwards.
Shuttle Ring.
Clockwise: Move forward on the timeline.
• 0-33 degrees: +2s jump
• 33-66 degrees: +5s jump
• 66-90 degrees: +10s jump
Anti-clockwise: Move backward on the timeline:
• 0-33 degrees: -2s jump
• 33-66 degrees: -5s jump
• 66-90 degrees: -10s jump
How to Use The Controller
The jog wheel controller is not a standalone product and should be used in combination with a mouse and keyboard.

Start or schedule your pre-game test or gameday recording, and open it. If you need a refresher on how that is done, click here.
If you are using a Spiideo profile, click the Contour icon at the top of your screen and ensure that there is a tick next to "Spiideo Replay Controller v1.0". If you see a tick, you are ready to use your controller in Spiideo Replay.
