AI Game Breakdown is a feature only available for select beta-customers. This feature allows you to order live automatic event and player tracking data. Our system will automatically detect common game events such as goals, passes, set pieces and even individual physical data like high-intensity sprints.

Did we mention this can all be done live? Combine manual and automatic tagging to get the most out of your video!

When selecting the type of Game breakdown, you have the following options:

Game Breakdown type

Description

Option 1: Game events and tracking data with player identification

Home and Away team lineups needed. Ability to see team and individual data.

Option 2: Game events and tracking data with team identification

Only Home and Away team required. Ability to only see team data.

You can order data live or games that have already finished. See below how it works!

1. Ordering data BEFORE the recording is started

Ordering data in this way will allow you to reap the benefits of live automatic data. The events will start populating to the timeline automatically within 2-10 minutes from kickoff.

Here are the steps to order data before you start the recording...

Step 1: Login to the beta version of Spiideo beta-app.spiideo.net through your web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.)

Step 2: Go to the Recordings tab and Start a new recording 15-30 minutes before kickoff.

📌 IMPORTANT: If the recording is started after kickoff, it will not work.

Step 3: Toggle On and click Next to continue

Step 4: Choose type of data

Option #1 requires the full lineup

Option #2 only requires the teams

If you choose, Option #1: Select Home team and add:

  • Team name

  • Jersey color

  • Starting lineup - jersey # and name

  • Bench - jersey # and name

Repeat steps for Away team.

If you choose, Option #2: Select Home team and add:

  • Team name

  • Jersey color

Repeat steps for Away team.

Option #1 line-ups entered

Option #2 only teams are entered

Step 5: Start the recording

Best practice is to start the recording anywhere from 15-30 minutes before kickoff. As long as the recording is started before kickoff, it should work.

NOTE: However, if the recording is started > 1 hour before kickoff, the auto-detection will time out and it will not work.


2. Ordering data DURING an live recording

Many customers Schedule recordings in advance via the Calendar tool. You also may decide during the warm-up or even during the game that you'd like to get AI Game Breakdown ordered!

Here are the steps to order data during a live recording...

Step 1: Login to the beta version of Spiideo beta-app.spiideo.net through your web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.)

Step 2: Once the recording is started via the Calendar tool or started manually, follow the steps below.

Step 3: Order Game Breakdown

  1. Go to your Recordings tab

  2. Click the 3 dots

  3. Select Game breakdown

Step 4: Choose type of data

Option #1 requires the full lineup - used as the example to the left

Option #2 only requires the teams

Step 5: Once you've entered the correct information, click done!

NOTE: Live data should start to appear within 2-10 minutes after kickoff.


3. Ordering data AFTER the recording is finished

Many customers choose to wait until the recording is finished to order data for various reasons. See below on how to order Game breakdown once the recording is finished.

Here are the steps to order data on a recording that is finished...

Step 1: Login to the beta version of Spiideo beta-app.spiideo.net through your web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.)

Step 2: Order Game Breakdown

  1. Go to your Recordings tab

  2. Click the 3 dots

  3. Select Game breakdown

Step 3: Choose type of data

Option #1 requires the full lineup - used as the example to the left

Option #2 only requires the teams

Step 4: Once you've entered the correct information, click done!

NOTE: Live data should start to appear within 2-10 minutes after kickoff.

4. What data is included in the beta?

Game events:

Goal, Shot, Pass, Free-kick, Corner, Penalty,

Substitution, Red card, Yellow Card, Throw-in,

Tackle, Kick-off/End, Header*, GK Action*,

Offside* with positions

📝 NOTE: items not in bold are coming soon and not yet included in the data set

Player tracking events:

  • Player statistics

  • Covered distance

  • Sprints count, distance, duration

  • High/Medium/Slow Speed Runs count

  • High/Medium/Slow Speed Runs distance

  • High/Medium/Slow Speed Runs duration

  • Successful passes (incl. set pieces)

  • Player physical events

  • Sprints, high-speed runs

  • Player position tracking XY Position (including speed, covered distance) and player in possession of the ball

5. How to view player tracking and team data on web and iOS

Viewing breakdown data is the same experience when viewing live or after the game is finished. There are a few different tools to analyze your data set:

  1. Pass Maps

  2. Pass Network

  3. Sprints

Viewing data on the web app via beta-app.spiideo.net 👇

Click the Statistics icon to view Pass Maps, Pass Networks, and Sprints.

Pass Maps allow you to see all the passes from a specific team within a specific phase (ex: 1st or 2nd half).

Click on any pass to see the pass distance, phase, player name, and corresponding video of that pass.

To drill down on individual player's passes, simply select the dropdown and select the player.

Click any of the arrows to watch the corresponding clips.

Player tracking visualization tools are great for presentations or screen recordings to share with players. This can also be done live.

You can also tilt your device horizontally and click icon below to get:

  • Connect and measure players

  • Area between connected players

  • Player runs and player trials

  • Halo follows player - select the halo button and tap on the player

To get to all of the player tracking visualization tools:

  1. Tilt iPad or iPhone vertically

  2. Swipe left 3 times

  3. Toggle each option to activate specific tools
